OMIH Media is run by long-term Hanoi expat Steve Jackson.

Steve is a trained and time-served journalist. He is also social media enthusiast and has been blogging since 2004. He has provided workshops and talks on the subject to groups as varied as the World Bank and the British Embassy as well as grass roots NGOs in Bamenda, Cameroon where he was posted for a year.

His first spell in Vietnam ended in 2007 but during stints in Central America, Europe and Africa he missed Hanoi and returned in September 2009.

Since his return he has worked as an editor at a local online newspaper, a freelance journalist and, more recently, as a social and mainstream media consultant. OMIH Media was set up in July 2010.

Steve continues to manage all aspects of the consultancy, bringing in additional expertise and assistance as required.
